can we LYNCH him?

Can we find out where Michael Richards lives, since he thinks that we would be hanging from tree's if it were 100 years ago? Look at him at the Factory in Los Angeles.

  1. I saw this on TV earlier today. What a dumb ass. Doesn't he know that black people helped make him rich just like all other Americans? Doesn't he know cameras are everywhere? Didn't he learn anything from Mel Gibson's tirade? His career is over. He'd better make a large donation to the NAACP this year.

  3. Eman/Torrance, what's up fellas? It takes all kinds... I, for one, am glad I didn't watch Seinfeld...lol... stupid MF. Damn, it is 2006, right... or is it 1966 and I'm dreaming, "Into the future!"

  4. here's an interesting question we should consider; with the case of mel gibson, the jewish community can determine if he gets work. if they're not satisfied with his apology, they can simply decide to blackball him, as in not green light the next film he wants to make/distribute, and mel will just live off of the fortunes he's already made, etc. however, if the Black community is not satisfied with richards' apology there's not really anything we can do that will truly impact his ability to generate revenue. it's not like his target market is the Black community, and we don't control an industry. fundamentally, all we can do is protest a venue he appears at, etc. but, by the time he's booked to perform at a venue he has already been paid in full.
we have to build more of a power device.

    just a thought

  5. I saw this earlier.

Did you see him on Letterman?...just a bunch of stuttering then..."I'M NOT A RACIST!"

Whatever. What's interesting is all the folk who were laughing...I guess they were waiting for the punch line.

And as far as Mel Gibson and antisemitism....I'm still mad about that shit! It's not like the man wrote the story. Should black folks be upset about Mississippi Burning? I mean really!

  6. I'm not so suprised that this cat would have the audacity to feel like he could say this sh@t, because we have become so de-sensitised to the word nigga, and we use it so loosely that he felt damn near justified in his wack ass humor. Now we have gotten so de-sensitised by the words I apologize that we gonna sit back and let this bull fly right under the radar and watch these white folks do their damage control and his ass will be back working tomorrow. Lets rally against this fool...!

  7. It wasn't just the fact that he said the word "nigger." But he also said 50 years ago you'd be up a tree with a fork sticking out of your ass. Now THAT was racist.

The interesting thing about this is you'd be surprised how many people can have a deep-seated hatred for someone and never reveal it. Richards has worked with African-American actors, including Phil Morris on Seinfeld. It would be interesting to get their take on his tirade tom find out if it is a surprise or something they knew about him all along.

Ya'll go have some turkey and collard greens.
