ReplyDeleteI grew up in Detroit and in Cleveland in the hood. We used to duck down and stay clear of windowns when folks started shooting in the new year. Luckily, I don't hear that where I live now. I don't like it when people shoot their guns to celebrate. Too many potential accidents. In Detroit, we used to listen to the radio on New Year's Eve. At 12:01 AM, they would be reporting the first death of the year. I don't miss it.
