ReplyDeleteIt is really amazing how much you DON'T hear about in the "real" news. That is why I stopped watching and use "alternative" sources instead to gather information on what is going on in this country and in the world.

ReplyDeletewhilst I don't doubt there is an historically entrenched bias in most forms of entertainment -- from tokenism in Star Trek to the pro-semite-Academy Awards -- this study doesn't appear to discuss the viewer bias, and whether they tested what influence the viewer's own views and perception had in their responses.
