It amazes me that the U.S. is hiring mercenaries, but then again mercenaries can get away with doing the dirty dirty work that our boys wouldn't be able to get away with under the scrutiny of the public. Saying that, mercenaries have been around for as long as there have been armies. They are what they are.

As for the U.S. Army being a gang, well I suppose that depends on how you are defining a gang.

I performed a piece I wrote last year about gangs. Mixed reaction.

The punchline explained that the gang the kid joined was the US Army.

These merceneries scare the hell outta me.
