I got home to watch the end of it.<br /><br />They had the SUV blocked in solid, the fellow driving was in his early twenties and unarmed. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but he backed up and did a little damage, nothing serious and he wasn't going anywhere and they peppered him full of holes.<br /><br />There were alternative methods available. They had the time. Man's inhumanity toward man. When we have no value for life...any life... then these acts of violence play out all over the world.<br /><br />As I said to you before each time I see violence committed by anyone I am convinced that it is to draw Us back to our humanity. That when we choose love over fear, this violence will end because to harm someone would be like harming yourself.<br /><br />Perhaps I am too romantic and my heart is not hard enough. Maybe its because I've not been shot or stabbed. Or just a person who believes in the redeeming, restorative power of love.<br /><br />This is indeed sad. My sadness isn't for the obvious solely, but that we have unwittingly become spectators to violence for protection and to raise awareness...and still the violence continues.<br /><br />What is my part in all of this and how can I help?
