Over 20 Sheriff's Units Respond To Violent Black Brawl; AT CHURCH
My paternal grandfather was a minister. Before he took over at the church he pastored, the minister at that time issued a challenge to the congregation, "The only way that another preacher will take over this pulpit will be over my dead body." At that point my uncle stood up and pulled his pistols out and aimed at the minister. "That can be arranged today." was my uncle's reply. The pastor grabbed his Bible and headed for the door.
I grew up in a church environment that has had some very unattractive moments like the one in the video. Only the police were never called in and they didn't fight outside of the doors.
But, this is not the way that the people of God are supposed to act. Unfortunately there's a whole lot of them that don't get this part of their Christian duty. That's why I ended up at a Presbyterian church. We fight with words and then we have coffee and a smooth it over conversation afterwards.
