Normal for the New Middle Class
Fact: The number of Americans that are going to food pantries and soup kitchens has increased by 46% since 2006.
FACT: There are 44 million Americans on food stamps.
There are Tens Of Thousands Of Formerly Middle Class Americans homelesss now and On The Streets
I work at my churh's food pantry on Saturday mornings. I can bear witness that many of people who come there are not bums nor are they lazy. They are people who have either lost the jobs or cannot make ends meet. I have had people apologize to me for having to come and use our services. There are times when I feel so angry because in a nation that literally throws money up the wild hogs azz, there is no true justification for people being treated like this!
