Congratulations it’s a boy

A few weeks ago I wrote a piece called when her idol is superhead. Today I’m gonna write about us men, not that is an indictment against all men, but some. And ladies, this is not for the real women, those women who understand their part in a relationship. Those women who understand that a man desires and needs the comfort, compassion and passion of a woman to be complete. Those women who know how to treat a man, and know that a man desires a woman that can take care of them, and most importantly, know how to keep a man.

1] He prefers to spend his time in strip clubs and bars rather than being with you and acknowledging that you desire to be comforted in his arms and embrace.

2] He expects you to do everything for him, even all things that he asks for, but doesn’t do much if anything for you and may even complain when you ask him to do something.

3] For those married or engaged, he will lose or never wear his wedding band and think it is no big deal, and maybe even fuss at you for expressing how you feel about him loosing or never wearing his ring.

4] He is super insecure and jealous. He will go through your phone and if allowed will check you email and hate to see you talk to any other man, when in fact he talks to other women, on the phone or at clubs all the time.

5] He is 35 and wants to be a rapper and hates to work. If he has a job, he will voice his displeasure and say he is working on his rap career.

6] He goes out and collects numbers of women without a thought of whether it is appropriate or inappropriate behavior, although he will be the first to say he is in a committed relationship. When you do the same, talk t other men, he loses his cool, wants to fight and will spend more time on trying to contact the man than give you that attention.

7] He cannot see or realize your value and as such, cannot see that other men may be interested I you, yet misses that maybe the are willing to do things that a woman as their queen deserves, still he does nothing to show his appreciation for you.

8] He still remains in contact with a past lover or ex-girl friend or some one that he was sexually involved with but would flip if you did the same. To remain in contact with a former sex partner and talk to them regularly is in appropriate and disrespectful and shows that he has no understanding of commitment and value for you as his partner.

9] He does nothing if anything to assist you in the daily burden of providing but at the same time feels that he has earned doing nothing because he is selfish, self-centered and only concerned with himself. For he says that he loves you but does not show it. Such is akin to saying I want my job but never going to work and being late al the time – end result is job termination. Which mans he was never serious about his job because we do in practice what needs to be done, not what we want to be done.

10] He lives about 5 or 10minutes away and calls to say that he misses you, but not enough to come or drive over and see you – which means he didn’t an to see you in the first place, or he would spend more time with you than with others.

11] he brags on you being an engineer and a good cook, a dr or a lawyer but dosnt brag about you the person, the individual and if he has a myspace page, he will not even have a pic of you and him on it.

If you have seen or experienced any of the aforementioned, congratulations it’s a boy and not a man. A man will provide and take care and focus and express is love to his woman through actions. Otherwise, ask yourself, if he is a man, let alone your man.

I wanted to put together a list of things for us men to think about with regards to women. So for the sake of brevity, I have outlined a top ten list. Women, don’t worry, I’m gonna do one on us men this weekend.


10] The clubs and being in the VIP section is more important than spending time with and taking care of your family.

9] She looks at video’s all day and dreams of being in video’s herself

8] When she has money, it is more important to get her nails done and buy chronic than to put gas in her tank or pay her phone bill

7] She says she is saving having sex until marriage but talks about selling her body for money

6] She only takes and never offers and complains and is ungrateful and appreciative of anything one does for her

5] Her ringer on her phone is Kanye’s West “Gold Digger”

4] She thinks it is best and easier to rent her self to men than to have a job
and anybody with some money or who is balling can get them guts

3] You meet her when she is out of town with a married man.

2] She thinks, but is not sure, who the father of her baby is

1] When she looks up to and says Super Head is her idol

Matri-Phoney

It seems that they don’t make people like they used to. I mean back in the day, it seemed as if when people spoke of marriage, it was sacred and meaningful. In current times however, such is not the case. I even had a friend , really several friends, all of which are women indicate that they believe that everybody cheats. I understand where they are coming from but I was kind of taken back. I can see cheating at the dating or boyfriend/girlfriend level, but not necessarily after a proposal, and engagement ring and the celebrated broom jumping.

I guess that in this age of being star struck and celebrity addictions, it can only be expected. Case in Point, Hoopz of Flava of Love allegedly is married and has a husband who plays professional basketball in Europe. Now check this out, over the past weekend, she was seen in Atlanta with the one T.I. Tip Harris at a club and restaurant – which I frequent often. Maybe I need to stop eating at the places I go too, but the strange thing was that a day or two before in the same joint, I saw T.I. with his woman, or what I thought was his Woman – Tiny, who is also his baby momma. And I admit the only reason I know such is via radio banter heard in the morning on the way to work in between the commercials on Sports Talk and NPR.

I just don’t understand why would someone take a vow of commitment to another and then and run off and cheat on them, if they are married, with a rapper. I guess she found a rapper she actually liked this time as opposed to Flav. Maybe all women in this new era see things the same, maybe it’s not cheating to them if it is a star and they are receiving gifts or money from that person. Whatever the case, men, these are some sure signs that marriage may not be for you, if your woman does the following: 1] Dreams of being an actress or dating someone famous – that means that if they get their chance, they will definitely sleep with them just to say they did – lol, 2] If you by her an engagement ring of two carets or more, yet she complains and ask for another engagement ring – that means that she just like rings and that marriage is secondary and marriage to you is even less important – lol. 3] She says she loves you all the time but in the same voice admits she is unhappy, for if one is unhappy regardless of what it is related to, they cannot love another and 4] she talks about being in video’s or wishes she was a video ho, even after reading Superheads book.

Now I’m not downing marriage or women. I believe in marriage and for me the commitment is a major one, for I have to make the commitment to myself first before my woman. In addition, I know that when a man digs out of his pocket for 4 or 5 stacks for a ring, there is not really much more he can do to show his intentions except jump the old broom. So ladies, please be reminded that marriage is sacred, and men, you remember the same, or else you may actually find out instead of a wife, you married a cheap trick.
