Obama Toured of Middle America Talking Jobs But Ignores Folks Hit Hardest by Economic Downfall

Politics is indeed a strange game. Here in America, it is often played at the expense of the poor and unfortunate. This is what can be observed in the little discussed jobs debate between republicans in the congress and the Obama democratic administration.

Unless you have been under a rock, President Obama has been on a three state tour of Middle America presenting his views on how to deal with job creation in America. Although President Obama and his spokespersons state that his bus tour is a “listening” tour during which he is promoting American jobs, there are two very obvious and glaring contradictions about his three state tours. First, he seems to travel to states that have the lowest unemployment rates nationally and lack the presences of strong minority communities; regardless if they are African American of Latino. More problematic than the aforementioned is that the $1.1 million a VIP H3-45 model vehicle ordered by the Secret Service in July 2010 and delivered two months ago, is made by a Canadian company.

That’s correct, on a tour where he speaks of creating jobs in the US, he roles in on a Bus made via the North American Free Trade Agreement made by a non-American company. In fact, during his speech yesterday at Northeast Community College in Peosta, Iowa the president said: “We should pass trade deals that will level the playing field for American companies. And no folks benefit more than rural Americans when it comes to our trade.” Obama then added. “But it also benefits manufacturing. We’ve got folks in America driving Kias and Hyundais. I want to see folks in Korea driving Fords and Chryslers and Chevys. (Applause.) I want to sell goods all over the world that are stamped with three words: “Made in America.”

This all the time his actions demonstrate the opposite.

It is obvious that Obama knows he will need the black vote to win in 2012. More so, he also knows like most democrats, he can take this segment of the population for granted namely because the white vote is what he must have to win. Add to the fact that being seen around white folk in the Midwest makes him look good to other whites as well as being concerned about their needs.

The simple fact is that these will be the people he obtains most of his campaign contributions from because a sizable corpus of Africans who will likely vote for him have been hit the hardest during the present economic crisis and have a hard enough time keeping a roof over their heads and food on the table. Instead of Iowa, Obama needs to equally deal with and appear in areas to explain why black workers are being left behind. While the unemployment rate for white men continues to fall, it continues to climb for black men. Yes the unemployment rate for blacks and whites are in opposite directions, yet any attempt to bring this up is considered to be an attack against the President, in particular if one is black.

Obama is well aware of the struggle and impact of the economic downturn, yet he will end his three-day bus tour complete with support with pledges of help for rural America and nothing for African Americans in the south and urban areas. Meaning while we suffer, he will be heading to the island resort of Martha's Vineyard Thursday for a vacation

Now I know some may anticipate that I will be writing about the confirmation hearings of Sonya Sotomayor. Not. In fact I would rather be listening to hearings on the two appropriation bills talking about spending my loot over that stuff. But If did write about such I could summate it in a few sentences for it doesn’t matter who up on the bench; I mean she kind of troubled me saying she would care about international law over the constitution. But it’s not important for as I said my concern is when will Americans wake up and see that Democrats and Republicans are stealing our country and robbing us blind – any who.

Since I have not composed a science post in a while, I will take this chance to do so. It seems that over the past 10 to 12 years, biologists have been observing interesting occurrences in the lakes, streams and rivers in our nation. They have been detecting extreme levels of organochlorine levels in tissues of fish.

In the Mississippi River, they have detected Chlordane, which is both a carcinogen and an endocrine disrupter, in shovelnose sturgeon (Scaphirhynchus platyorynchus). This has also been observed in Small Mouth Bass in the Virginia area, namely the Potomac River, where a high rate of intersex (male fish exhibiting female characteristics) has led to an investigation of water quality and wastewater discharge the nation water-ways.

These chemicals have resulted in an interesting outcome to say the least – male fish that carry eggs. Yes eggs. It seems that this group of chemicals is not as important to our politicians as greenhouse gasses. Moreover, t seems that our government is so concerned with farts and global warming that they have missed something that may be even more dangerous than carbon emissions. Xenobiotic pollutants have revealed the capacity to disrupt reproductive endocrine system functions. Based on my limited understanding of biology, I suspect it is because they interact at the level of the hypothalamus, pituitary, gonad and/or liver. Fucking with the endocrine glands may result both in changes in the rate of gonadal development and/or in the viability of the gametes (sex cells = sperm and ova).

The endocrine glands secrete hormones directly into the bloodstream which in turn affect the activities in other parts of the body. Which means they serve as a federal express for the purpose of controlling and coordinating activities throughout the body. The hormones then bind to receptors, which allows it to transmits a message for a specific action. It just amazes me that we will complain about the earth getting warmer but not even mention or focus on those that intentionally pour pesticides and flame retardants in our tributaries. Again they have been asleep at the wheel politicians, for if fish and other water creatures are impacted this way by such pollutants, they likely hood is just as viable for human beings. I could not imagine a world in which men were no longer men and carried eggs – dang, makes the men all pause for real in my eyes.

Point of order: I was asked by the Publisher of the News weekly I serve as Senior Op-Ed writer to write a piece suggesting that given Obama centrist approach to his administration, that he may forget about the folks, in particular African Americans who put him in office. I feel bad for the next President with respect to our current economic prospective and his clout he has from most black folks for just being black. It seems as if many just take what he says without question. It is almost as if they see him equal to the savior, or even Jesus Christ.

I don't, see him for what he is – a regular old politician who just so happens to be president and black. From an economic perspective, I listened to his promisies and read what he wrote and I did not belive he would do what he said back then and even moreso today. Back then, we didn't have a bailout for Wall Street banks which all them dumb azz senators (including Obama) signed off on and passed under the auspices that it would "fix our economic woes" - a bailout that gave these financial institutions approximately 50% of the United States GDP, without any strings attached or requirements supposedly to "free up credit markets."

From his eloquent statements, I was under the opinion that Mr. Obama would not support the "reckless spending" that was reflective of the last 8 years – but his actions indicate otherwise. Obama talks about reigning in spending but his policies after reading are just as, if not even more reckless. Although I say this, I am inclined to give the President-Elect the benefit of the doubt. But things are drastic and not just from last January, but

I say this because I think that his desire to be seen as a moderate or centrist will reduce his ability to give us folks what we need for economic prosperity. The nation's unemployment rate got to 7.2 percent in December, and it appears as if things are only going to get worse.

I want Mr. Obama to be a success, and I want him to have the best interest of all folks, and especially those that have benefited most from the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., but I doubt it for from his actions and his appointments, he cares more about folks inside of the beltway and the big spenders of Wall street and the Ivy leaguers than regular folks like us.

Jones mane, folk here hate to do this, but as the Dogon priest on Bail I am, it is my duty. And I hope this is the last bit of politics I perambulate for a while. Was trying to hold off until the GOP convention, but like I said, time is of the essence.

A pulse is a rhythm, a rhythmical throbbing of arteries proffered as function of the synchronous contractions of the heart, in particular from a taxonomical perspective as palpated at the wrist or in the neck. It has also been used to describe the sentiments or views of a group (e.g. political electorate). Unfortunately, it is a reality that the pulse of America has traditionally been one built on race and racial distinctions. Since the House of Burgess to Barack Obama, this is a truism that cannot be denied. This is not to say that the majority of folks in America are racist – which they are not, but rather the material that the fabric of our country was established and founded upon. But let me table this and get to this later.

The other day I suggested that folks be prepared if Barack Obama don’t win in November. I was not saying don’t be optimistic, but rather realistic based on historical precedence. Sure change and a different outcome are possible, but it remains such -vpossible. Unfortunately, there are those that will go in a voting both with the curtains closed and vote for McCain merely because they cannot allow themselves to vote for a person of African descent. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong for voting FOR a person because of race, or gender, or ethnicity or party affiliation or because they are from your state, home town, or attended the same school you did; but there is something abhorrently despicable for not voting for a person because of such.

McCain, well I think he a dumb fk, I mean, he wants to continue the same economic policies as espoused by one George W. Bush, The failed policies of GWB at that. Such shows me he can’t think nor really care about the common man. But what can you expect; this is a man with at least seven homes, and a man that can’t remember how many he has. These include three beachfront cribs in Cali, condo in La Jolla, two additional condos in the same building in Coronado and a crib in Arlington, Virginia (MTV cribs here).

Then he tries to ride the POW tip like a surf board in Hawaii. Now I respect him serving his country, but as pilot 40 years ago he got shot down suggesting that he wasn’t even real good at that. Jones must have had serious drain bramage seeing he doesn’t even realize that Czechoslovakia is no longer a country and hasn’t been a country for 37 years. Not to mention he has made reference to Iraq mixing up where the Kurds, Shities and Sunni's actually lived.

McCain, knows he don’t have to play the race card, but he will sling dirt, and play on the fears of the average jones and say that BO is just a Hollywood rock star type. So, Barack, you got to get rawdawgbuffalo with jones. And I suggest the following:

• Play on his inability to know his countries. I would suggest talking about the rate at which senility is prevalent among people his age, and ask the American Public if they would be comfortable with a man with ruptured lysosomes on his brain leading the country.
• Reverse the Rock star card. He has been on the tonight show 13 times and you only once. Who is the real Hollywood politician?
• Hammer on the fact that he has no new ideas, and that his economic plan is a carbon copy (age pun intended) of George Bush, which has failed and put us in this mess.
• kick that fuc boy biden off the ticket and add powell.
  

In essences, scare these mother fuckers mane, the voters, cause that’s what he is going to do concerning you. I mean, McCain has the doric pillared stateliness of a parapalegic prior to DNR on his hospital chart.

I know you don’t read my blog and I know you handlers don’t even know I exist. But if you want to win, the aforementioned will help go along way. Because anywhere from 5 to 15% of the ones who undecided, will vote for McCain because he aint black, and that really real. So question the mental capacity, compare that of one aged 71 to one 45; show how his sound bite phrases and attacks aint done jack to make our country safer. Show that a man that don’t know how many houses he has aint concerned about the common man, and maybe, just maybe, you may be able to prove that one of McCain’s 7 Houses is in Czechoslovakia – that is if you want to win, want my vote, and for me not to write my own name in.
