Mesage her back from inside her body

Now tell, me would I be wrong to answer to the assertions suggested by past acquaintances, who just be trying to blow my head up? Case in point, I justmet a woman who said they were moving in town, at least around the perimeter where I stay. She is about to finish her phd and she calls about every two or three days, enticing me with sexual innuendo and shit of that nature. And I like it u know, asking for nude pics, making me blush and I wouldnt have even noticed her if she had not entered my office one day. Now don't get me wrong, I'm the first man that feels it is my duty to message my partners back from inside her body, but I just feel that if I did, I would be falling for the okie doke.

So what she makes me feel like the shit, like there has never ever been any long and fat manhood as mine burried in the base of her spine. And I have heard it before in some assorted incantation out of mouths of the past; in the form of taste, capacity and endurance. I mean I love sex but I hope to find more a complete package more so than some women who recant how I made their flesh crawl, or how their eyes rolled in the back of their head, or the neatness of being able to maintain an erection after bussin one. I don't know, but I deserve more, at least in my mind, for I know as a man I don't see me returning to the past, a past of bone and dis-own - albeit I am capable of such and without remorse.

Maybe its the tequila talking or something rolling off my chest. My boys say I should never turn down kitty, but , well ill leave it at that......

An Interesting Narcotic

I grew up when there were about 4 television channels and they would all seem to go off at night with the picture of an Indian in a bull eye with an eerie humming sound. Now, there are a ca-zillion channels, most of which don’t offer anything of substance to the viewers. I’m trying to figure out what has happened. It seems as if the only thing that is on is news and what they consider to be reality television shows, of which none seem to be real to me.

I tried to look at a few of these but they all just seem to proffer poor acting, if at all and set-up conflicts that don’t have anything to do with nothing. I checked out this new show for about ten minutes, it was about some white folks turning black and some black folks turning white. The only thing of interest I got was a laugh for the short duration when I watched it when the white women, dressed I black face said she would be able to experience being with “actual black people.” Then there are these other stupid shows like the Flavor of love where an elderly Flavor Flav of Public enemy is in a house with 20 dames. I say this is not real for any real nigger maybe would have boned a few babes, and kicked them all to the curb and selected the chick called Hoops. Even the news is jacked when they run stories celebrating the anniversary of Court house shootings as they have been doing to celebrate the legendary Brian Nichols here in the ATL.

This makes what David Mamut said a long time ago really succinct – that television is an “interesting narcotic. By definition, a narcotic is any drug of an opium derivative. One reason I still have problems with drug laws that classify Cannabis as a narcotic when it is not even a by product of opium. Drugged up on television, aint that some shit. Thank God for CSPAN and ESPN otherwise I wouldn’t have a need for a cathode ray tube at all.

american gothic revisted - gordon parks dead

Folk, we just lost another one – Gordon Parks. Parks was born in Kansas in 1912 but had to move to Minnesota at the age of 15 after the death of his mother. Mr. Parks to me was one of those rare breeds, a renaissance man the likes of Cheikh Anta Diop in my eyes. I consider myself to be a renaissance man as well, thus the pain I feel after losing this great artistic and creative mind.

He was a musician, writer, director, and most notably a photographer. He took up photography and in 1942; he was given the chance to work for the Farm Security Administration where one of his most notable photographs - "American Gothic”.

Parks went to Washington on a fellowship from the Julius Rosenwald Fund, which included other fellows of James Baldwin, Ralph Bunche, and Zora Neale Hurston. He continued to display his greatness both in music, film and literature. He directed Shaft, Shaft's Big Score and the Learning Tree, a novel he penned after his growing up in rural Kansas.

He also worked at Vogue Magazine and eventually moved to Europe in 1950 Moves to work as a correspondent for Life magazine and was their first African-American photographer. If you want to see his work, I suggest you take a look at what he did in 1948 on the violent gang wars in Harlem through the eyes of Red Jackson, a 16-year-old gang leader.

In 1966, he published the first of three autobiographies, A Choice of Weapons which eventually led to him writing several other books including essays and poetry. Some of these works include: Gordon Parks: A Poet and His Camera, Gordon Parks: Whispers of Intimate Things and In Love, in 1971, Moments Without Proper Names in 1975 and Born Black, a collection of essays on the struggle for civil rights in America. Parks was the greatest African American photojournalist of our time since James Vandrezee. No matter what his American Gothic and Vanderzee’s Barefoot Prophet will always leaving resplendent and pronounced image of the America we came from; the one I engendered myself to never forget.

6 6 6

Main, first and foremost, I’m a Memphis Nigga, and I have repeated this mantra since my formative years growing up in Castalia Heights (CTO)- Castalia Taking Over) and South Parkway. Yep, even before I had all my degrees culminating with my Ph.D. And as you can suspect, being such I love the crib and all aspects of it especially its music, From Sam and Dave, Al Green and Isaac Hays to yes , the Three –six mafia. I didn’t get the chance to see them on the Oscars since my lame ass was up in the cut looking and hoping for Gonzaga to lose in the Western Athletic Conference final. But I knew about it.

I was at my home boys recording studio about 3 weeks ago when he got a call from D.J. Paul saying that they were being nominated for an Oscar and that even before hand the city had set it out for them. My home boy, who I grew up with, was one of the Villains in the Three-Six movie Choices. He was Alonzo Bolden (Reggie Boyland).

Three 6 Mafia were originally called "Backyard Posse and includes as its members Gangster Blac, Gangsta Boo, La Chat, Koopsta Knicca, Crunchy Blac, Lord Infamous, Juicy J, and DJ Paul. With the beat making magic of Paul and Juicy, they are the first hip-hop group from Memphis to go platinum.

Like I said, I didn’t see it or the performance; in fact I have never looked at the Oscars anyway. But my home boys called me, about three of them in a row ecstatic. Although most of yawl may recognize them for the songs "Sippin' on Some Syrup" in 2000 and "Stay Fly", I remember buying their tapes from them directly off the streets at clubs and Overton park. My favorites personally are: Azz and Titties”, “weak ass bitch”, “Make a stang”, “Mafia”, "tear the club up" "fuck what ya heard" among many more. This is likely the biggest bang for our music in the industry since Isaac Hayes winning for "Theme from Shaft" in 1971. So I say this just to say good lookin Three-six, for putting Memphis-1o, flip town, the bluff city back on the top of music game as it should be.

Kafkaesque

When I think of the current political climate in the U.S. with wars abroad and creeping protectionism, it almost seems surreal. I think that may be they way these neo-conservatives want it. Given their impetuous focus on preemption, regime change and benevolent hegemony, it is only logical that they continue to distort what is actually going on in the world around us in an effort to front as if what they do serves American best interest.

Such ideological predominance makes it seems that foreign policy is rooted on fake moral imperatives that only a few select folks seem to gain benefit from. By invading Iraq, the Bush administration created a problem they said they were trying to abate: they managed to make Iraq the new bastion for terrorism. I still cannot see how these folks concluded that democracy in the Middle East would be the solution to ending terrorism? This is the dumbest shit I have ever heard since Santa Claus.

This concept of benevolent hegemony is another errant concoction. The assumption is that America is benevolent, which is absurd in itself, as if a country founded on slavery and sustained on racist principles can be virtuous, incorruptible, inculpable, and/or righteous in the first place.

We need to re-think our foreign policy approach and do so quickly before we see more of our homeboys going off to foreign lands to fight wars that we gain no betterment from, as if they were the foreign legion protecting the great imperial nation state of America. Having no articulated approach to our foreign policy, especially in the Arab/Islamic regions of the world is another reflection of how little we know or care for what other think and borders on being Kafkaesque.

I suggest this because the Bush Administration has presented a distorted view of actually how dangerous folks in the Middle East are towards us. It’s not like it is anything new, in fact I would note that these views have been consistent since the Knights of Templar and the establishment of Israel. The terms come from the famous writer Frantz Kafka, who wrote two of my favorites (the penal colony and metamorphosis). Franz Kafka was one of the most influential writers of this century. His works were not even published until after his death and often presented a picture of a belligerent and detached world. This is the kind of world I presume President Bush projects based on his approach (if any) to foreign policy alone.

road around her neck

I read or heard some where that Eve has a new boyfriend. Not that this is major or important, but more so who this man is may be. You may not have heard of him, but his name is Teodorin Nguema Obiang, the son of Equatorial Guinea dictator Teodoro Obiang Nguema.

I speculate that him being extremely wealthy and suited down all the time, makes it ok to look the other way. But would Eve care since he is know for having two Bentleys and a Lamborghini Murcielago, that he jails people just because they disagree with him politically and even is connected to touturing folks to death? It has even been reported that the heir spent nearly $700,000 to rent Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen's 303-foot yacht to throw a party for her. Not to mention that he owns mansions in Paris, London and Cape Town.

At any rate, it’s operose for me to see why one would go out with the likes of an individual who would steal from their own kind to lavish themselves as opposed to honoring the sovereign duty of political leadership? His father has ruled the West African country since 1979 and has survived several failed coup attempts, one of which by his own brother. Brig. Gen. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo as his official title reads also has strong connections with the current Administration via Joe Allbritton and the Riggs Bank. It is alleged that the account in question contained $300 million to $500 million over the past years. Most of which is deposited by international oil companies active in Equatorial Guinea. None the less, The General has been known for torturing and unjust imprisonment of political opponents by Amnesty International.

The country I admit is beautiful, especially Malabo – which is also know for the location of the infamous Malabo's Black Beach prison. However, although offshore oil fields generate hundreds of millions of dollars for the West African nation, most of the population is impoverished living on roughly a dollar a day, and its infra-structure is basically non-existent.

I hope Eve is happy, but I wish she could see that the son is no different from his father. He did serve as director of his father's 2002 reelection campaign which it is reported was extremely corrupt and has obviously learned well from his father since He is the minister of state for forestry, environment and housing. Yep, I guess she is happy, because I know when ever she looks at all that ice he will be drowning her with, that it will be just like wearing a road around her neck.

Deck the Hall of Shame

As the great and learned philosopher Bushwick Bill once said “Bitch I’m talking to you, some of you niggaz are bitches too,” in my head I often scroll through names such as Taye Diggs, some select actors and musicians, car jackers and many politicians among others. Now I have decided to add Former baseball commissioner Fay Vincent, who just chaired the committee that elected 18 people, including 17 from the historic Negro leagues, into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

By secret by secret ballot of those selected included the first woman in the Baseball Hall of Fame, Effa Manley who was a former owner of the Newark Eagles from the Negro Leagues .Strangely enough, it was her Newark Eagles team that defeated the legendary Kansas City Monarch’s in 1946v in a seven game series in which one of the folks I would like to talk about, hit .333 against the Eagles, along with two home runs one of which was a grand slam

From what I have gathered thus far, the only two living members of that group of players representing the Negro leagues, Buck O’Neil and Minnie Minoso were not selected for entry into Cooperstown. Why cannot answer. Not only did they deserve too be inducted based on their careers and off the field activities, but only an idiot would fail to see the obvious – that these men are still living.
He became the first black coach in the majors in 1962 with the Chicago Cubs and was instrumental in establishing the Negro League museum in Kansas City. O’Neil won the Negro league world series in 1942 when he led the Monarchs the title over the celebrated Homestead Grays. The son of a slave and at the age of 94, he was only considered after a screening committee in 2005 decided that these well-known folks should be even considered for the hall of fame Ballot.
Orestes "Minnie" Minoso, played with the New York Cubans, where they won the World Series from the Negro American League's Cleveland Buckeyes before entering the major leagues with the Cleveland Indians in 1949. As a rookie he batted .326 with 173 hits while leading the league in triples and stolen bases. Although his performance suggested he be the rookie of the year, it was given to a far less productive white boy - I the Yankees' Gil McDougald.

Minnie Minoso after his Negro leagues career, Minoso played in the majors from 1949-64, and hit .298 lifetime. He was a seven-time All-Star and won three Gold Gloves in the outfield.

I really don’t understand why it was so difficult to elect these individuals into the Baseball Hall of Fame, in particularly since they are the only two, last two living members from the Negro League? I for certain would have let them in before Bruce Sutter Mr. Vincent, for bitch I’m talking to you.

what’s your conversation?

The conversations we have and what we entertain ourselves with mentally can present a clear picture of us individually and collectively. I just wonder what it is we talk about or concern ourselves with, and whether or not it proffers any benefit, individually or collectively to us.

I even will not use myself as a beacon; for I know I tend to be one that maintains a destroyed and cynical locution on the world which many I suspect subscribe as psychotic and awkward. So I would go out on a limb and infer that it may go something like this.

We possess a keen interest in Hollywood for one. Folks that we do not know and do not know anything about us. Who marrying who, how much their ring cost and who is having whose baby. Why, as I believe these folks are not thinking about us and what we do?

On the local, it may echo something like this: Who’s dating who? Who has fake hair and who doesn’t? Who’s man cheating on whom? Who just got of jail or who think they are all that. Who is having whose baby and how many baby mommas’ he has? Who can or cannot afford something or who is a thug or not a thug, if the example is music?

Wonder why we don’t talk about who much money we losing by not taking advantage of capitalism outside of sports and entertainment? What stocks will make me the most money in short or long term? Why my school awards my child with A's yet he barely reads on a forth grade level?

The conversations we have tell a lot about a person. Let us see if we can challenge ourselves to talking about things that are more likely to have a major impact on our lives as opposed to subjects that do not.

Black, Brown, Beige and Undereducated.

Just as there is a change occurring with respect to the new image of Europe, a similar occurrence is going on here in the U.S. Europe by contrast, is becoming increasingly African and Arab. As such, the political reference point of the past – one of traditional unchallenged Anglo-Saxon province – no longer can exist. In The U.S. As the decades add up, we will be completely a country of darker shade peoples as well. However, unlike in Europe, where the Muslim, Arab and Africans merge their political interest under a well educated populous, they do and command the governments consider their views valid. We in the U.S just foggle away opportunity and disregard liberty. Shit, we probably don’t even understand the concept of Liberty.

The future seems even bleaker. I mean it is not like we should expect the government to do for us anyway. But rather it should be a view is that this is what we do for government and this is what we expect government performance to be based on that contribution. This will never happen because we aid in the degradation of our own community. If more than 50% of students drop out from high school generally, speaking, how many do you think will be coming from our schools in our neighborhoods? Take it a step farther, if 80 percent of high school drop outs end up in prison and 40 percent of all inmates are darker people, yet these people make only 13 percent of the population, what kind of educated populous will remain to do battle, represent and demand that what we put in we should get back?

I wonder how much money in our neighborhoods is loss as a result. How many more homes, books, cd’s, and service that we provide in dollar terms could we be making? We can see this yet we select to motion toward and support being other than educated.

We allow this to happen on our own and it’s a shame. Simply put until we are proactive in our thinking such that they reflect action, we will force all to value education regardless in the understanding that our kind were killed and maimed just for learning to read. We should value and internalize this image. We need a well-educated populous or else American in the future of us as the majority, will just be Black, Brown, Beige and under educated.
