seduction or sincerity

Need I not remind the good folks in cyberville that it is football season. Waiting on it to start up again after the Super Bowl ended made me understand what it must feel like to be a crack head. Being as such, it means no more interest in going out on a Friday night and no more lounging around trying to figure out what to watch on the cathode ray tube. Now, I am back in heaven.

One thing about football is that it is somewhat like the barbershop for men. All we do is beverage, laugh, eat and talk, and of course, attend to our kids if they are around. This Thursday, I was surprised to see a game on and went crazy. I had some of my folks over also. Through the midst of our over zealous excitement, we struck up one of those barbershop topics.

My boy was talking about lessons learned in dating women and said, “You know the difference that I have noticed between dating younger women is one of seduction versus sincerity.” He went on to say that, younger women are attracted to seduction, that they like the chase and the game and for a man to spit that game in their ears - that they love the flash, the glitz and the glamour – the rims, the cars and the jewelry. On the other hand, he said older women lean toward sincerity. Meaning, that their desire in a man with respect to satisfaction, regards having a man that is not deceitful, a man that is genuine, honesty, open and truthful. He finished by saying that what we as men desire, is a woman that is some where in the middle.

I thought about this during half time, and it made sense. Unfortunately, I could not dwell on it long, because I had to make a beer run and be back before kick off. You tell me, what do u think?

Seduction vs. sincerity..... I think that as a young woman I prefer some combination of the the two where in I'm getting about 98% sincerity .5% seduction and 1.5% "I just can't put my finger on it". I'm still young and I think that makes me very guilty of requiring a certain amount of heat from a relationship, hence the desire for seduction, but in low amounts (like using hot peppers. Other than that I'm entirely too ____ (grown, intelligent, etc)to be too into the idea of spit game. I just like a brother who's honest, intelligent, and preferably no older than 30 although I do make exceptions lol.

I think like anything else it depends on the person.

I've had the luxury of having many male friends who are both attractive and disturbingly charming. Not to mention successful and high profile. I've seen the game they run on girls. Especially some young ones around my age. But I've also seen them make trips across town to bring me medicine when I'm sick, wrap me up in their arms when I'm heartbroken, cook for me (or bring me food)when I'm working too much. So I know they can be sincere as well. While charm can get your attention, it's the sincerity that makes you want to do all those things for a man.
If you're smart.

If you're not, you'll be one of those women who looks for the glitz, ignoring the man underneath. My daddy is just an ordinary, run of the mill guy, but he's been a good father and husband. He always told me that if I found a janitor that loved me the way I wanted, then that's who I should be with, regardless of the charm and the bling.

I have always been a woman who is attracted to sincerity.

I think that younger women are too, they just get the two confused.

I find that I can appreciate the style and vigor of a young woman, however the immaturity has begun to be a serious issue for me. I don't like to prove myself at every juncture, nor do I like to compete for admiration from someone who is not ready to live in their purpose. The seduction is sweet, especially if administered correctly but it does not override sincerity. Give me a middle aged woman any day.

Hm. I dont date women so I couldnt compare my experiences :P All I can really speak for is myself. In my opinion, its a combination of both. I dont care if you are young or old you want to be seduced, you want to have excitement...and it doesnt necessarily have to come from flashing what you have (financially/materially) because thats old (and its lame). Seduction can actually come out of sincerity and that is probably the best type of seduction. Seduction doesnt have to end with a romp in the sack. White men seduce their women all the time...and they marry them. LOL

I also think when older men look at younger women they usually have that in mind...so those are the younger women they go for...and if the woman actually turned out to be not into the "bling" they go and find one that is. LOL Because you use the younger woman for your sexual fantasies but trust me, you can find some older women that can be lured in by the "bling" as well...who do you think raise these girls to be like that? The thing is...those women are not appealing because they often have kids, baggage and they are probably looking at the "bling" not to get a pair of shoes or to get their "hair did" but to get bills paid and someone to care for their entire lifestyle LOL
