Lone Lakota Heading East

Point of order: 1] If you don't know me by now, you will never never never know me….Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes

2] Good look was blessed when Blogzilla and Str8 from the A stopped by the shop. His daughter played with mine and they are adorable.

Jones, I write from my heart. My heart as it contains the convictions that I vastly and effortlessly release from this brain and ink to paper. You see, I feel that in some past life of mine I was something or someone else. In my latest book, I used a quote from one of my favorite warriors, Genghis Khan: "I am the Flail of God. If you had not committed great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you."

Sickly thing is I believe that I was he who uttered these words once upon a time in history. But he is but one in man in action and speech that I acknowledge that resides in this restless soul and spirit such to the point that I feel to free to express my every desire, my every pain and my every joy with out fear to share such with the world.

And even in this journey we call a blog, feel it is my duty to define my warrior sprit and my passion for thought. I feel it is my job. That it is the Dogon in me, that it is the Two Moons in me, that it is the Gil Scott Heron in me, that it is the Diop and King and Genghis Khan in me. My words and thoughts are my warning to all that have the patience to accept other and listen and learn. Bear with me for I am trying to explain this in human beings instead of plate lunches.

I included Two Moons (in picture) because I will always recant that he, Crazy Horse, Gall and Sitting Bull put it down at the Battle of the Greasy Grasses. They say that Custer was attempting to surprise the Lakota and Cheyenne but that it did not happen due to one lone Lakota warrior heading east who saw the dust of the Calvary on the charge. He ran back to the lodges to warn his fellow woman and man.

I feel as I and my writing, especially as it pertains to my blog is like that lone Lakota heading east, and boy oh boy, how I wish I had a Gall, a Crazy Horse or a sitting bull to answer and ride without question, to my call.

Good look main. Khan was the truth. Love the crusades history as a result of him. Seems history books don’t talk much of the demise of the crusades at this family name

Raw, I think all of us are called to this medium for a reason and I appreciate all you bring to the table. As we connect with different folk and iron out our problems in a public forum I think this will bear fruit in the future. Keep doing what you're doing and you'll be surprised how many people will mobilize with you if you give the call.

Alright..I swooped through here to see if you had posted today.

T,

I always come through to check you out because it is a mini course just following where you go mentally and spiritually.

This is an interesting mix of folks you have put together.

If my memory serves me correctly, Khan was quite the warrior! Feared and respected, loved by those who could handle that aspect of him.

I am just learning about Dogon. But if looks indicate the manner in which they may act during time of war~they are probably wise and cunning. In appearance they look fierce. (I will have to read more about them. Thanks for sharing the link)

GSH~yeah! That passion that is in his writing~for the truth and for his folks, its here on this blog. It seems to me that in many ways you two are kindred spirits. You have that eye for seeing what is in the core of the situation or the person. And you are not afraid to reveal whatever that is.

I always find your combinations to be mentally challenging. Because there is the intersecting point that either folks grasp or they don't.

After careful consideration and minimal knowledge of one out of the three folks you have linked together...this is the impression I have at the moment.

There are times when it is necessary to be relentless and brutally honest. There are also times when it is meant for you to be that urban eye and voice that talks to your folks with ease. And there are times when the situation is reversed~yet you are prepared.

Am I off base or at least in the park?

I get this feeling alot as well. Just someone who is there and down for my cause without a question. I think it's just shows that loyalty and level of trust you have for one another. At least I think that's what you meant. I believe in past lives too.

As always Torrance, your spot-friggin-on sweet brother. The Khan line really was awesome, and I wasn't aware of it:

"I am the Flail of God. If you had not committed great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you."~Bet the Theocrats and the neocons hate that line being turned on them don't cha know? ;)

Hope you are enjoying your weekend..and not working too hard.

Perhaps what you seek is already with you...not so obvious.

Look from your heart and not with the eyes of men.

All that you need, you have been given...all that you desire has been sent.

Pay attention.

I'm not sure if you mean that you literally believe in past lives, or just writing metaphorically. Metaphorically, makes perfect sense, literally, well, I've been thinking. Really.

Not so long ago I happened to run across an Oprah show on past lives, and she made a pretty convincing case. Interesting. In any case, no doubt that all things, and all beings, are connected through some universal energy that surpasses time and space.

On that note, I'm sending you some positive energy right now. Hope you're feeling it.

do remember that sitting bull was killed by his own people. sound familiar? sometimes you may be ignored and not believed. but that is when a true warrior is born.

i guess. if u know that Major James McLaughlin, the Indian Agent at Standing Rock, sent about 40 folk, including his Sitting Bull's brother-in-law, "Gray Eagle" on December 16th, yes they were indians, mostly crow, arch enemy of the lakota, but all paid by the us cvalvery - so were they his own people. yep
