all he gotta do is stay white

Yo, had something else entirely to post, but folk here be thanking on that incessant tip, and reading more than the average slave. Not to mention had a good day at the shop, plus Morehouse (my alma mater) home coming and the fact I cooked Rib-eye steaks, black eye peas and stewed potatoes.

Any who. I’m tired of this pomp and circumstance, of this bich shit, of the queries asking what McCain has to do, or even worse suggesting that Obama got this shit in the bag. Folk – two things: 1] cut your mutha fucking TV off and 2] RIF – reading is fundamental. Now why do I say this? Well because I figure that folks looking for ratings if u a TV idiot and that they want to keep the dumb dumfounded and questioning.

The way I see this shit mane, only a fool would ask a muther fucka some dumb shit like that – what McCain got to do to win? Jones, mane, the last time I looked folk was still in America. All McCain got to do unfortunately is stay white and don’t die. And that mutha fucka will always be in the race.

Nope, jones here aint being pessimistic, but rather objective. Since I feel that many folk so caught up watching the parade they cant see the man on the float with the rifle shooting at them. I know, it is sickening that most folks accept without question and don’t even have the mental faculty to question the what if, let alone interject the reality that history has evinced, Yea jones, don’t let the green grass fool ya. Next thing you know, you will ask your child if they got any homework, and if they say no you will say ok.

First of all, IT IS ABOUT TIME THAT YOU TOOK MY ADVICE! I see you are going to be on the radio. Yeah!

It is obvious that you definitely need to turn your television off! Watching the MSM has caused you to have a reactionary outburst!;)

Seriously it is important that people have a sense of balance in life. Sitting and watching too much of the coverage over the remaining days will cause you to have a TMTTAA
(Too Much To Think About Attack)

It will be what it will be.
This is a matter of fact that should not be ignored.

But I am always down with the idea of replacing television with reading a good book, newspaper, blog, magazine whatever!
So you get a chocolate for this one!:-)

The preceding link contains an interview from 2001 in which Obama states his Marxist desires for the country.

He clearly and obviously believes in the redistribution of wealth -- which is a view that can lose an election.

Moreover, he clearly states his desire to take money from whites and give it to blacks.

no slappz, isn't the economic stabilization act a form of financial socialism? socialism wasn't bad then...

"Moreover, he clearly states his desire to take money from whites and give it to blacks. "

aren't there more poor whites than poor blacks in america? poor people who work in this country get screwed and most of them are white...

how does socialism negatively impact the poor and working class, which constitutes like two-thirds of american? to me, it seems socialism is only bad to rich people because it takes money from their pockets... and it's in their best interests to convince the poor and working class who will probably never reach an elite status to agree with them... it was also in their best interests to pass that act as well.

With respect to your question about socialism:

Long story short, have you ever wondered why the US extracts vast quantities of oil and gas from the Gulf of Mexico, but Cuba cannot find a single drop?

Do you wonder why the Soviet Union collapsed? Do you wonder why socialist countries are incapable of producing products of quality?

The answer boils down to their government. Governments always fail at running real enterprises.

Do you wonder why our public school systems have vast problems, but private schools are so much more successful?

Do you wonder why almost every nation in Africa suffers from brutal poverty, disease, and the absence of industry?

Has a socialist government/economy existed that would survive without the benefaction of capitalist nations?

Amenta said...

Thanks T, and I agree. Just stating a point or rather my feelings, in the forum. Actually I like the opposite point of view, so with that:
@No-slappz, in fact Korean and white own corporate businesses were burned on purpose. There was blatant exploitation by the white corporate businesses and Korean owned business in South Central. Tolerating the theft, the Koreans felt it profitable to stay in South Central, accept our money, yet practice open disrespect to the people they collected money from and never circulated those dollars in that community, not even to go buy lunch from Roberto's Taco shop next door. Often these Korean and Middle Eastern owned businesses would be selling typical products and groceries out front and the crack head could go in back and purchase straight pipes and brillo (rock/crack paraphenalia) from the store owners. What CNN and the rest of the country called rioting was truly open rebellion. It was a reaction to the final straw that broke the camel's back, of out right government sanctioned police brutality. Police brutality and corruption was a norm in Southern Cali (see the LAPD Rampart Division corruption case) for years prior to the Rodney King case. The Rodney King video tape represented to Black and brown people of the area and time, a sort of vindication for the many cries of brutality that had been unheeded for more than a decade. Thus, the rebellion was in response to the government sanctioning of his beating, which represented in the minds of many the government sanctioning of the brutality of the past decade or more. It was open rebellion on those that participated in the "rock" (crack) trade indirectly by selling paraphenalia to crack heads and rebellion on those that exploited the people and never circulated the money in the community they used to gain their wealth.

Amenta said...

Oh yes, NO-Slappz, Obama will do nothing for Black peole. He has made that crystal clear. You gotta know 98% of the population makes less than 250,000 per year, so what he proposes if for the vast majority of the U.S. population and not for Black people. However, I don't believe he will be making the changes in the tax law he proposes. Also, I do believe he has made a very fundamental mistake when what he proposes can be disected into the interpretaion of the "redistribution of wealth." This in the past has been a fatal mistake.

ensayn1,

You wrote:

"There was blatant exploitation by the white corporate businesses and Korean owned business in South Central."

Nonsense. There's always more than one place to shop. Meanwhile, if you really believe this nonsense, then why were there none or too few black-owned businesses to offer customers what they wanted?

I willingly walk a few extra blocks to shop where I get better values.

You wrote:

"Tolerating the theft, the Koreans felt it profitable to stay in South Central, accept our money, yet practice open disrespect to the people they collected money from and never circulated those dollars in that community, not even to go buy lunch from Roberto's Taco shop next door."

You make it seem as though the only Korean business in the area operated next door to Roberto's Taco shop. Like I said, if the Koreans caused you to feel you were an unsatisfied customer, then you should have shopped elsewhere. On the other hand, maybe only a small number of people felt as you felt and the Korean businesses were able to earn a profit.

As far as disrespect goes, I have no idea what you mean.

I live in Brooklyn, NY and patronize Korean, Muslim, Hispanic, Jewish, and Russian businesses every week. There are also a few black businesses I patronize.

Like it or not, people are different and it shows in the way they conduct business. The differences are not necessarily good or bad. But there are differences. Moreover, each ethnic group has its own set of businesses, or at least a variation to serve the needs of the largest possible percentage of customers.

I've been to Korean delis in black neighborhoods near me in Brooklyn. Those operations are not noticeably different from Korean delis in other neighborhoods. But Koreans have their manner, which tends to be polite but reserved. They are not in business to make friends.

Furthermore, no one has an obligation to spend money in places that offer nothing of interest. Based on my experience, one group of people who are least likely to spend money in typical black businesses are Koreans.

Who cares where store-owners spend their earnings? Moreover, I'll bet a huge percentage of the spending power in South Central came from various state and federal subsidy programs.

You wrote:

"Often these Korean and Middle Eastern owned businesses would be selling typical products and groceries out front and the crack head could go in back and purchase straight pipes and brillo (rock/crack paraphenalia) from the store owners."

Pipes and brillo? In other words -- not drugs. Sorry. It seems you are claiming that sales of pipes CAUSES crack use. As we both know, that's ridiculous.

Based on your form of logic, the existence of butane lighters causes people to smoke cigarettes.

The sales of illegal drugs are not affected by burning down the businesses that sell such items as pipes, which the average idiot can make, if necessary.

What were the laws regarding the sales of drug paraphenalia? Illegal? Or just discouraged? Rolling papers are sold in every deli/convenience store/bodega in NY City.

Meanwhile, you forgot to mention the drug-dealing conducted by gangs.

By the way, what is your view on drugs? Do you favor continued criminalization? Decriminalization? Or outright legalization?

Your post leads me to believe you have no coherent view on drugs.

Yes, I know about the Ramparts Division.

As far as your claim about "rebelling against those selling paraphenalia of the drug trade", well, that sounds like a poor rationalization.

Why not drive the addicts and dealers away?

By the way, how is South Central these days?

Did burning much of it down make it better?

Has the drug trade disappeared?

Are there more black businesses there these days?

What's the gang situation there today?

no_slappz said...

ensayn1,

Obama very clearly stated in the recently released audio-tape of a 2001 interview that he believed the Supreme Court should have used its power to redistribute wealth to blacks through the powers of the Civil Rights movement.

He used the term "redistribution."

If you read his "Blueprint for Change", which is on his website, you will see that he has vast hopes and dreams for taking more money from people who have a little and giving it to people who already are heavily subsidized by taxpayers.

He's got the old idea that if you give a person X dollars and that fails to meet his needs, then give him 2X dollars and see how that works.

No_slappa's a bigot in general. He's definitely anti-Latino and anti-Muslim. I have to be honest and write that I've never seen anything he's written pro or anti gay.

His most impressive work, however, is reserved for preaching Black inferiority at majority Black blogs.

The man has nimble mind, so I have no doubt he can work at a serious senior-level job and still blog away. Torrance is busy. I'm busy. A lot of blog obsessives are busy.

Every blogger does some degree of preaching to the choir. I find his willingness to take on the single most difficult bit of blog missionary work I can imagine to be admirable in a twisted John Waters kind of way.

"Meanwhile, you forgot to mention the drug-dealing conducted by gangs"
Gangs did not sell drugs in Southern California at that time. This shows me you are writing what you read or heard somewhere, and not what you know. ensayn1,

Your lack of a real answer is no surprise.

I asked a few questions which you decided not to answer.

As I said, burning down the neighborhood because some businesses were selling drug-use paraphernalia takes things in a ridiculous direction.

Who was dealing drugs?

A product with origins in another country does not appear by magic in South Central or anywhere else.

A coordinated effort brings it from the growing fields to the distribution channels and finally to the hands of consumers.

Here in NY City, neighborhood groups, otherwise known as gangs, were/are the street-level dealers in most parts of the city. The fact that they were/are local rather than national, such as Bloods and Crips, is irrelevant.

How about answering my earnest questions that I asked in my previous post?

Riots have been happening since mankind has been grouping themselves together into rudimentary cities. Riots cross race and gender lines. No slapps said "As for your claim of the Tyranny of the Majority, well, first, there's no tyranny.

Really? How is it that every plank to the communist manifesto is alive and well right in the United States? That is something I consider tyranny. The reality is that we live in an oligarchy. Everywhere I look I see Democracy this, and Democracy that. Everyone is so quick to defend democracy. The founding fathers hated democracy because it is where 51% of the people can enslave 49%, A constitutional republic means there are somethings you cannot vote on. Not that I wouldn't mind taking political office, I really just don't think I could do much worse than the people we have in office now. I don't believe that even I could "Seize" the leadership if I wanted it. I am not as charismatic as McCain or Obama.

No Slapps sd "I'm not sure what point you think you are making by asking if the sight of blood makes me queasy. (It doesn't)"

casper,

I read your profile and saw that you live in Japan. Since many forms are fighting are practiced across many borders, it seems possible for someone living in another country to take a shot at the UFC.

As for the issue of rioting, I should have been a bit more precise. I should have said: American whites do not riot.

Your first video was a collections of shots of European mayhem, probably at soccer games. Even though the video showed considerable civil disobedience, it was all spontaneous violence signifying nothing more than the thuggishness of European sports fans.

The second video contained NO footage of rioting. Period. Furthermore, it seems to have shown the action of the Chinese military against unarmed civilians who were running away. Furthermore, Chinese are Asian, not white. But that's irrelevant because the people themselves were running away from violence, not committing violent acts.

We have private property in the US and vast personal freedoms. Americans live in a capitalist, pluralistic and democratic nation.

North Koreans and Cubans live in communist countries. If you cannot see the difference, well, that's too bad.

no slaps: As for the issue of rioting, I should have been a bit more precise. I should have said: American whites do not riot.

Yes you should have, but that irrelevant. The Boston tea party was a riot. Do you remember the movie gangs of new york, come on man your from Brooklyn er something. The surrounding events portrayed in the movie actually happened. Just because it hasn't happened recently doesn't mean whites won't riot. Do I think Obama being elected or not will spark a riots... no but one can hope.

Your first video was a collections of shots of European mayhem, probably at soccer games. Even though the video showed considerable civil disobedience, it was all spontaneous violence signifying nothing more than the thuggishness of European sports fans.

no slaps: The second video contained NO footage of rioting. Period. Furthermore, it seems to have shown the action of the Chinese military against unarmed civilians who were running away. Furthermore, Chinese are Asian, not white. But that's irrelevant because the people themselves were running away from violence, not committing violent acts.

Those were just two quick videos I pulled up because there were quick for me. I don't have time to sit at a computer searching for the perfect video to menace you.

no slaps: We have private property in the US and vast personal freedoms. Americans live in a capitalist, pluralistic and democratic nation.

Do you pay property tax? Then you don't have property rights. only two states left in the union have limited allodial title, Texas and Nevada, and those are only limited allodial title. Not to mention the state has the ultimate trump card with eminent domain. Stop paying your property taxes and see what happenes.

no slapps: North Koreans and Cubans live in communist countries. If you cannot see the difference, well, that's too bad.

I see the difference the point I was making was that other races besides inner city blacks can and do riot. Your vague arguments make it hard to pin you down and therefor you wiggle your ass around in semantics. I know because I do the same damn shit. I have to admit it is fun watching someone elses circular reasoning at work.

Now I have work to do see you in a day or two.

As much as I hate to admit it, you're right. If Obama were white, this race would be soooo over. I went back to TV watching just to keep an eye on news reports. Funny that now all you hear about is how all of the young, first time voters aren't showing up in droves like they first thought. I just wonder how many people won't be able to vote because of long lines and only having two hours off work to do so. People talk smack all day and sport their t-shirts and bumper stickers but how many will go out and vote? I never underestimate the power of complacency and apathy to throw a wrench in the whole process...we'll see though.
